Soucy Family Video Page

This  video page is for the Soucy family to display their home video of family functions, events or just plain fun videos that they create so that every one in the family can view them from their home computers. Especially My son Ray and his wife Kerstin and little boy Nico. Also Kerstin's family in Germany may host their videos on this page if they would like. This is a great way for the family's to stay connected and a great way for The Soucy's and Urbans to get to learn about and know each other. If anyone in the two families would like to put a video here just contact me. Have fun with the Videos.

Ray & Kerstin's Engagement Party

This party was held on June 21st 2008 at Nana & Pops house in Monmouth Maine. {USA} The first plan of the trip was to surprise Mom Soucy {Dolly}. She didn't know that The kids were coming home from Germany. Ray & Kerstin just showed up at our house and knocked on the door and Dolly answered it and there they were. Dolly just broke down. This was the first time that we had ever met Ray's fiancé Kerstin. Ray and Kerstin are getting married on July 4th 2008 in Germany. Doll and I will not be able to make the trip to Germany for their wedding so this visit was a blessing from God. This is a video that I Brian {Dad Soucy} created of the Party. Their entire trip was 10 days. More video to come of highlights from the rest of the trip.

____________________________Highway 61 Bio___________________________

Highway 61 unites five Maine musicians, each with a guitar case full of experience, versatility and high energy.
Mark Larlee on guitar, banjo and vocals, and brother Phil Larlee on drums, have logged decades playing locally, as well as touring from Florida to the Maritimes.  Mike Giasson, on guitar, harp and vocals, started playing country with his dad (and Maine Country Hall of Famer), "Little Mike," in the 70s.  Brian Soucy, who originally studied classical guitar (in the county!), brings the band his folk-influenced vocals and finger style guitar.  Bassist Bert Salib, who once toured Canada with Boxcar Willie, rounds out this diverse group.
You'll hear a bit of everything with Highway 61- from the swampy vibe of the Bayou, the crisp twang of Nashville, to the smokey soul of Chicago.  And as only a supergroup can do, they smoothly blend their influences to make each number real.  So buckle up and cruise on down- you're in good hands with Highway 61.
